FAQs Data Collected During Registration As registered members will notice, only minimal data is collected during registration process, and thus it can NOT be used to identify or even track any individuals. Data Collected Post Query Registered members who viewed a query result will be emailed a set of survey questions pertain to the query afterwards, typically 6 to 12 months. Answers to the survey are strictly on voluntary basis, and are only analysed and used for fine-tuning and pruning the data models. So yes, by using your queries, you are also participating in our research project. Privacy and Usage of Data Collected This site do NOT use cookies or other tracking methods. Query dates, times & types are logged only for usage statistics purpose. No user info is shared with any third parties. Annual Query Calender Cycle Annual query cycle starts February 1 each year to January 31 the following year. For users who add a query during November to January, given the duration of the query cycle is shorter, their query will be renewed to the next calender cycle free-of-charge, after the current query cycle ended at the end of January. The same query option(s) that users donated for will then be available in the next cycle.   User Donation and Approval Process Registered users will be directed to a PayPal Request after the registration is completed. Once the donation is cleared, the submitted query request will then be approved. The duration for clearing varies. Members will then be informed via email to start using their queries. All donations are NON-refundable. (and NOT to a 501c charity for tax purposes)   Available Use Cases (Query Types) There are currently 4 use cases (or query types) available for our data models, as shown on the intro page. We do not rule out the possibilities that there may be more in the future. Availability of Queries in a Calender Cycle Each user will have a 1 available query for each use case, or a maximium of 4 total available queries in any given 12-months calendar cycle. Users can select any query, or all 4 of them during registration, or adding additional queries on their user profile page later on.   Applicable Duration of Query Results Each query result is applicable to the entire February to February 12-month cycle currently. That is, there is only ONE available query and its respective result for each use case in any given 12-month cycle currently. (Trust us, you just need one each per year!) Interpretations and Understanding of Query Results Query results are based on past data from people with similar input data. They only give us TRENDS and TENDENCIES, much like what baseball sabermetrics or genetic tests can and can NOT tell us. * Therefore, interpretations of the query results and understanding of the limitations of them should be approached as such.* Query results are often in ACTION - ITEMS format to serve as reminders, though they may sound "just common-senses", but are *often neglected* according to our empirical experiences. Experimental Section Users will notice there is an experimental section in step 2 of the query process. Users can consider this a bonus entertainment feature for now, though many users may find it relevant to their situations. Feedbacks will be analyzed during user survey process.
